Skylar, is that you?

Skylar is 11 years old this year. I got her in 1996 from the Humane Society. I was actually introduced to her at work and then went to the shelter to adopt her. She’s a sweet girl, although a little high-strung. She probably gets that from being an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix. At least I think that’s what she is – sometimes she looks a little like she’s got Border Collie in there also.

But not now. For the first time ever, Skylar got a haircut today. Well…not exactly a haircut, more like a buzzcut. I barely recognized her when I went to pick her up! It had to be done – she was shedding like crazy and I could tell she was miserable. I think she looks great – but she definitely looks different. Let me know what you think.
